SOFT SKILLS
FOR PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES

Project Description

The main aim of the project is the empowerment and social inclusion of people with intellectual difficulties. By providing soft skills training and digital games to strengthen their soft skills, the project actively promotes inclusivity and diversity in education and training, ensuring that individuals with intellectual difficulties are not left behind.
The project is strengthening their soft skills and making the learning process easier and more flexible, thus contributing to the goal of increasing the takeup of adult education. The project will customize educational techniques for adults with intellectual disabilities, thus promoting inclusiveness and accessibility in adult education.
The Consortium of this project has set the following objectives:

(1) Provide access to lifelong learning for the most vulnerable groups of adult learners by supporting people with intellectual disabilities through soft skills training that will help them enhance their communication skills, social skills, increase their independence and quality of life, and employability. By enhancing their soft skill, they can be supported in overcoming the obstacles they face in their personal lives and foster an easier and more flexible lifelong learning process.

(2) Support educators who work with people with intellectual disabilities to successfully implement the project’s soft skills training with PwID in their communities and to enhance their skills for working with People with Intellectual Disabilities
